Facilitate the use of intermediate objects
Use (on a table or desk) the technique of the intermediate object by means of any object available. Help the client to appropriate and represent through intermediate objects the problem to be explored. Support him/her towards a resolution of the dynamics “opened up” by these incarnated objects.
Maximize the "empty chair"
Allow the client to tame the role reversal and gradually help him/her to take the various roles involved in his/her personal problem(s) in order to unravel their dynamics.
Represent the client's constellation of roles
Understand the characteristics and dynamics of internalized roles. Use the “social atom of roles in action” to identify and differentiate them. Listening to the client in his complexity and giving, through action, the voice to each of his roles.
Provide the meta role of "co-coach”
Facilitate the client to take on the role of Co-coach and develop a “non-pressure” adequacy between what he or she is experiencing (inside), the stakes of the situation in which he or she is in, and the options to be considered to resolve it..
